VirtueMart is an e-commerce solution for the Joomla content management system. It is open source, released under the GPL licence and free of charge — no licence fees, no monthly platform subscription, no percentage of your turnover. The shop runs on your own hosting, and the data and source code stay yours.
It is not a separate application sitting next to your website. VirtueMart is part of Joomla, so the catalogue, orders, content pages, blog and user accounts all live in one system, under one template, with a single administration login.
